INDICATIONS FOR USE

Designed for use as a lingual retainer wire. This product is not indicated for individuals with Nickel sensitivity.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Clean and sandblast the enamel, rinse, and dry. Etch the enamel for 30 seconds. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

2. Apply a coat of Assure® Plus to the etched enamel. Lightly air-dry.

3. Place a minimal amount of L.C.R.™ GoTo™ or FlowTain™ on the lingual surface of each tooth.

  a. Position the Ortho FlexTech® strand into the adhesive (“coating layer”) on the lingual surface of each tooth. Ensure optimal adhesion and that no slack occurs along the wire.
  b. Alternative method: Place one end of the Ortho FlexTech® chain into the applied adhesive (“base layer”) on the canine’s lingual surface. Align for optimal positioning and light cure to hold the wire in place. Proceed to the next tooth, removing any slack in the wire. Repeat until reaching the opposite canine.

4. Apply a “coating layer” of L.C.R.™ GoTo™ or FlowTain™ over the light-cured material to fully cover the Ortho FlexTech™ wire. Light cure the coating on each bonded tooth.

5. Check for occlusal interference between upper and lower teeth. Carefully polish any rough or raised areas.

NOTE

When used in the upper arch to maintain spacing between the central incisors, consider using a secondary .0175 twisted wire from 1-to-1 or Retainium™, as the wire may stretch slightly, allowing the space to potentially reopen.
