Uses / Features:

• Contains 37% phosphoric acid

• Blue color indicator

• Cherry flavor or regular variant

Indication for Use: Reliance Etchants are used on enamel to prepare the surface for bonding.

Instructions for Use:

1. Isolate the tooth to be etched.

2. Using a brush or microbrush, apply the etchant to the entire bonding area. Do not scrub the etchant on the enamel. Leave for 30 seconds (60 seconds for primary teeth). Avoid contact with soft tissues.

3. Rinse thoroughly (5 seconds per tooth for liquid etchant, 10 seconds per tooth for gel etchant) to stop the etching process and remove demineralized particles.

Precautions:

• Etching liquid or gel (phosphoric acid) is a severe eye and tissue irritant. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.

• If contact occurs with other tissues, rinse the affected area with plenty of water for several minutes. Prolonged contact with skin or mucosa may cause injury.

• Cherry flavor may cause mild inflammation or irritation.
