Indications:

Interproximal sanding blade (manual or machine-assisted use)

• Designed with safety, precision, and minimal invasiveness in mind, featuring calibrated blade thickness.

• Especially useful for controlled unilateral or bilateral enamel reduction during clear aligner treatment and conventional orthodontics.

• To open interproximal contact points, begin with inserting a wedge and use a 0.1 mm or 0.2 mm interproximal saw blade, then gradually widen the space as needed with 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm, and thicker blades in ascending order.

  • Depending on the clinical situation, contact opening can be performed on one or both sides.

  • To minimize enamel damage, move the saw blade continuously in a back-and-forth and up-and-down motion.

  • 1 µm = 1/1000 mm.

  • The blade thickness does not correspond to the interproximal space created between teeth.

  • A non-diamond-coated area allows insertion of the blade into the contact point without damaging enamel.
