DESCRIPTION

Features / Characteristics:

• Orthodontic separators are small, round elastic bands with a slightly firm texture and a diameter of approximately 1 cm. They are designed to create space between molars (teeth #5–6 and #6–7), making it easier to place orthodontic bands.

• Wearing time typically ranges from 5–7 days depending on the patient’s dental condition. The number of separators used can vary from 1–12, and the entire placement process takes about 2–3 minutes.

• Made from 100% natural, pure rubber with no harmful chemicals, these separators are safe, non-toxic, and do not cause side effects or damage to oral health.

Usage Instructions:
Method 1:

• The dentist threads the separator onto a stretchable dental floss. The floss is then placed into the interdental space and gradually pulled to guide the separator between the teeth. The floss is then removed.

Method 2:

• Using a dental separator plier, the two ends of the elastic are held and stretched to make the band thinner. This allows it to be easily inserted into the interdental space.
