Features:
Sturdy design with rounded tips for twisting ligature wires.
Used to tighten metal steel wires around brackets. The round handle allows rotation in the palm; squeeze the handles while twisting the tip to lock or unlock the pliers.
After releasing the Matthew pliers, trim excess wire and use the tip to tuck the wire tail securely under the bracket wings.
Carbide tips make the pliers sharper and more durable.
Fine serrated tips can also be used for elastic ligature placement.
